Description:
Expected participation of 200 attendees and policy makers. We shall discuss issues on unsafe abortion and why it is important to join the campaign of enacting a law that will address it. The key speaker will be an experienced Midwife/Matron and Activists. We expect a behavioural change in targeted audience and policy makers due to the evidence based information gained.
Research is on-going on women’s experience of unsafe abortion, self induced abortion, delays in receiving care, safety of illegal services. Findings will be published on dailies and factsheets.
