The Center for Reproductive Rights is  launching a free e-learning course for advocates! Please see the information below and feel free to disseminate widely.

The Center for Reproductive Rights is excited to announce the launch of an online course to support advocates in leveraging the human rights framework to advance reproductive rights at the national level. In this course, participants will:

  • Learn how to engage with international and regional human rights mechanisms to reinforce their advocacy on reproductive rights;
  • Discuss different advocacy strategies to advance quality maternal health, access to contraception, safe abortion, comprehensive sexuality education, and adolescents’ rights; and
  • Devise an advocacy strategy on reproductive rights, including by developing an evidence base, mapping decision makers and key influencers, and devising key messages.

This course will provide ample opportunities for advocates to network, exchange experiences, and collaborate with other advocates based around the globe. At the end of this course, participants will present an advocacy plan, applying their new skills to a reproductive rights issue they are seeking to address in their respective countries.
