International Safe Abortion Day
Photo exhibit and captivating stories by the World Health Organization that highlights how access to safe abortion ensures healthy outcomes. They shared stories that spotlights the unstoppable movements that fought for and protected safe abortion care access everywhere.
From UN Women: Today is #SafeAbortion Day and here’s a FACT: Over 103 million women & girls live in places where abortion is prohibited altogether. When safe and legal access to abortion is restricted, women and girls are forced to resort to less safe methods, often with damaging results.
