In solidarity with the September 28 Campaign for Decriminalisation of Abortion in Latin America and the Caribbean we encourage members/partners/allies to sign and send specially designed demand letters to the embassies of five countries – Nicaragua Chile, El Salvador, Dominican Republic and Honduras – in your countries. These countries have a blanket ban on abortion in all circumstances, including therapeutic to save mother’s life and health. This constitutes a grave violation of women’s human rights. It is noteworthy that all five countries with the most restrictive abortion laws are located in Latin America and the Caribbean.
