A day of talks, debates, art exhibitions, activism and workshops in defense of reproductive rights.
Panel discussions
11am – 12.30pm: Introduction to the local and global state of reproductive rights
Speakers include Preethi Sundaram (IPPF), Clare Murphy (BPAS), Marge Berer (International Campaign for Women’s Right to Safe Abortion), Eleanor White (Abortion Rights Campaign). Chaired by Mara Clarke, from Abortion Support Network

1pm – 2.15pm: Reproductive rights in Central and Eastern Europe
Speakers include Dr Nevila Pahumi (University of Michigan), Aleh Stankova (LSE) and Dr Eszter Tarsoly (UCL – SSEES). Chaired by Marta Kotwas, from Dziewuchy Dziewuchom London.

3pm – 4.15pm: Progress and challenges in the fight for sexual and reproductive rights in Latin America
Speakers include Anita Peña-Saavedra (campaign “Aborto Pura Vida”, Sisters Uncut), Illary Valenzuela (London Latinxs, Sin Fronteras, LAWRS). Chaired by Lieta Vivaldi, Chilean lawyer and member of the campaign “Por el derecho a decidir, también en Chile”.

4pm “Refugees and SRHR”, workshop facilitated by Radical Herbalism

Curated by Poli Palian, with works by Zuza Tehanu, Katrina Majkut, Guerrilla Girls Broadband and Marzena Ablewska­Lech.

Exhibition by “Sin Fronteras”
Curated by Illary Valenzuela (LAWRS) and Ingrid Guyon (Photosynthesis). Four young migrant Latin American women will present their photography projects depicting the politics of homelessness, migration, identity and story-telling.
